Fuerteventura is a
wonderful place to take photographs during the winter months.
The America Star photographs that can be seen on this page were
taken between the dates December 2005 and October 2007 (during
the winter months) and as can be seen the
air is crystal clear thus producing wonderful clear blue skies.
During the summer months the air is clear but not crystal due to
the heat bouncing of the Island
American Star (Fuerteventura)
I have produced
a couple of slide shows showing the American Star slowing
slipping to her final resting place below the waves. You can
access this by clicking
here. I am showing only pictures taken by my own camera of the American Star that
run aground off the west coast of Fuerteventura in
January 1994. In the first slideshow the photographs were taken between the dates of
December 2005 and April 2006. There is not a lot left of her
now and this can be seen on the second slideshow when
clicking
here These were taken October 2007 please remember to scroll
down on this page as they are both on the same page.
For those that only have a Dial
up connection you will have to be content with the pictures on
this page (although you can click on the thumbnails to enlarge
them) and those dotted around the site of
Fuerteventura Apartments.
...Please enjoy!!
